Hello! I’m fairly new to the area, having hailed from Seattle, and am about to embark on a major garden overhaul in my new home.

I would really appreciate knowing where is the best place to purchase hybrid teas and also where I can buy a climbing Cecil Brunner climber. Any help and information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you. Gretchen Schramm

I personally purchase my hybrid tea roses from Witherspoon Rose Culture, which is located in Durham, NC. This is their website:http://www.witherspoonrose.com/

You may call them and see if they have the climber you are looking for. They may deliver purchased roses to you in Wilmington as they service rose gardens in this area (spray and fertilize) on a bi-weekly basis.

You may also like take in one or two of our gardens on the tour and speak with the owners on where they purchase their roses. It is FREE!
