WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A fundraiser and rally tonight in Wilmington aims to take you out to the ballgame.

Port City Baseball is hosting a rally at Hell’s Kitchen to support a proposed ballpark in Wilmington. The event will also raise money to build a Miracle Field, which is a special baseball field that allows handicapped children and adults enjoy the national pastime.

A raffle starts at 5:30 p.m. A screening of the movie “Field of Dreams” starts at 7 p.m.

Anyone who missed this should donate.
Mandalay who might bring a team here is a HUGE supporter of this in minor league teams.
Anyone of any age,gender,disability can now play.
That is what life is all about,being active.

Those that put it on and Hells kitchen can PAY FOR IT…NO TAXPAYER FUNDED BASEBALL!
