WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Wilmington city council also voted in favor of amending the city's Future Land Use Plan to include the now-annexed Monkey Junction.
The plan maps out which areas are designated residential and non-residential. No significant zoning changes were made.
The newly-annexed area has been receiving city services since last month.
