CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) -- Just like tourists and warm weather, another popular beach fixture is coming back. Just off of the boardwalk at Carolina Beach they are bringing back the rides.
The temporary amusement park is setting up in time for the Memorial Day weekend with rides for kids big or small.
There is something about the lights and mid-way feel in this beach town.
Pat Wise with Hildebrand is supervising the set up and will manage the rides this summer.
"We have three new rides that we brought in: a Fun Slide, a Hurricane, which is a teenage ride, a thrill ride, and we have a Little Dino dinosaur ride for kids, and we're starting to kick off the season tomorrow," Wise said.
Hildebrand promises the same prices as last year, and they will have more to offer.
With Thursday's opening coming up fast, there is a lot of work to be done. As the sun sets on this beach town crews will be working well into the night.
