WILMINGTON,NC (UNCW sports release ) – The UNCW Baseball team will watch the NCAA Selection Show on Monday (May 28) at Buffalo Wild Wings on Old Eastwood Road, as it learns its destination for the upcoming regionals later this week.

The selection show will air on ESPNU at noon.

The Seahawks captured their third Colonial Athletic Association championship on Saturday with a 10-8 win over Delaware in Harrisonburg, Va. UNCW will be making its fifth appearance in the NCAA tournament and the first since 2008.

Buffalo Wild Wings will have a buffet available for those attending the selection show gathering. The buffet consists of wings, wraps, fries and beverages for $10. The buffet will begin at 11:15 a.m.

WILMINGTON,NC (WWAY) – The Wilmington Sharks will open the 2012 season at home on Tuesday against the Morehead City Marlins at Buck Hardee Field. The first pitch is set for 7pm.

EHITEVILLE, NC (WWAY) – The Whiteville-Randleman high school baseball 2A state championship series will begin on Friday at 8pm at Five County Stadium in Zebulon. Game two of the series is set for 2pm on Saturday in Zebulon. Game three if necessary will be played at either 5pm or 8pm.

RICHMOND,VA (WWAY) – The Richmond Kickers beat the Wilmington Hammerheads on Saturday 3-1. Wilmington’s next game will be on Saturday, June 2 against Orlando.
