WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — New Hanover County’s Blair Elementary School held a Career Carnival today for third, fourth and fifth graders. The kids got a chance to ask people questions about their jobs to give them an idea of what the future may hold.

Students got to meet professionals from a cross section of fields, including “Good Morning Carolina” anchor Ashley Jacobs. She found one young man who knew his favorite part of the event.

“That I get to be on TV right now,” third grader Bryce Brazelton said. “That’s pretty fun. It’s never happened to me. And just going around asking everybody questions about how their jobs work, what they like about their jobs.”

For the record, Bryce was impressed with television, but says he would rather be a professional baseball or football player.
