Two arrested for golf course theft

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) -- Brunswick County deputies have charged a Winnabow man and a teen for recent break-ins at Olde Fort Golf Course.

Michael David Nucci, 23, and Nathan Atlas Hale, 16, are charged with four counts of felony breaking and entering and four counts of larceny.

Detectives had been working on this case for about a month before arresting the pair yesterday. Their investigation led detectives Nucci's home, where they found stolen property from the golf course.

Investigators are still looking for some of the stolen property, including a white Club Car golf cart.

Anyone with information should contact Det. Justin Stadler or Det. Tate Bond at (910) 253-2777.

Article Title

WWAY, your title for this article makes it sound like these two fine upstanding young men stole a "Golf Course". Wouldn't you agree it's a bit misleading?

"Two arrested for golf course theft"

Would it not have been more accurate to have inserted the word "at" and titled the article, "Two arrested for theft at golf course"?

Just asking.

"Two arrested for golf course theft". I would like to see that. Now that would be a story.

You really think someone could steal an entire golf course? !
