WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- "Iron Man 3" returns on location in Wilmington next week. Meanwhile work is underway on sets at the shooting spot.

A permit filed with the City of Wilmington for "Caged" by Iron Works Productions III, LLC, says the crew will work overnights June 14, 15, 18, 21 and 22 and July 6 at National Gypsum off River Road. That's south of the State Port.

We found crews at the location working on sets, which appeared to have an Asian architectural theme. The film will shoot in China, and a casting call earlier this year asked for people of Asian heritage.

The permit says three cast members, 91 extras and 150 crew members will shoot "Exterior building scenes involving special effects and stunts."

The shoot will require blocking traffic for short intervals as needed, according to the permit.
