WILMINGTON,NC (WWAY) — Former New Hanover High School standout George Bryan has been released from the Dallas Cowboys in order to make room for a tight end that the team recently claimed from the Seattle Seahawks. George Bryan, a graduate of NC State signed a free agent contract with the Cowboys in late April shortly after the NFL Draft. Bryan was not drafted, even though some draft experts projected him to be a late round selection. Big mistake. Holds every TE record in history of pack. All American junior year. All acc team four years in a row. Underrated. New qb senior yr. hope they rethink that one.
