WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Residents and visitors can expect more traffic than usual getting on and off Wrightsville Beach next week.

The North Carolina Department of Transportation will intermittently close the eastbound and westbound right lane of US 74/76 at the Wrightsville Beach Drawbridge over the Intracoastal Waterway beginning Monday. The closures for routine bridge inspections will run each day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Thursday, June 28.
