GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Authorities have arrested a Greensboro man after a hit-and-run incident that killed two people.
The News & Record of Greensboro reports (http://bit.ly/Mft82r ) that 49-year-old Julio Romero faces a number of charges, including two counts of felony hit-and-run and driving without a license.
Police say the two people were killed as they tried to cross Randleman Road around 5:45 a.m. Tuesday as they walked from a shopping center. Investigators would only say the victims were a man in his early 50s and a woman. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
