BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Bladen County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for help solving a rash of vehicle break-ins. They happened between midnight and 6 a.m. Tuesday in Clarkton.
Investigators say about 30 vehicles were broken into. They say all but a couple of those vehicles were left unlocked.
Items stolen included cash, credit cards and GPS units.
A vehicle, along with assorted tools, was also stolen from E.J. Cox Processing at 9323 US 701 Business in Clarkton early Tuesday morning. A white 2008 Chevrolet Silverado with vehicle registration #DE7032 was taken after the business was broken into.
Anyone with any information on these crimes is asked to call the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office at (910) 862-6960.
Deputies remind you to remove valuables from your vehicles. Also, keep your vehicles locked with the windows rolled completely up. Investigators say thieves will check the door handles, and when they discover that the door is unlocked, whatever is in there will be gone in seconds.
