WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — According to the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority, the 6400 block of Eagles Nest Drive in Wilmington was temporarily closed while CFPUA crews worked on a water main leak Saturday.

No traffic was allowed to go through, but residents in the immediate area had access to their homes.

No service interruptions were felt, and crews had the work completed by Saturday evening.

AWWWWW. . . a water main leak. Imagine that. Wow I’m shocked. Oh, by the way. . . here comes the new baseball stadium. THOSE water lines will be new so they won’t leak and the sewer system won’t run over either. . cause it’s going to be brand new.
