The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority has rescinded its Boil Water Precautionary Notice previously issued to customers in the area of Dobbs Street, Chappell Avenue, and Rutledge Drive. The system has resumed normal operation.

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — CFPUA officials have issued a boil water advisory for residents living along Dobbs Street, Chappell Avenue and the 100 block of Rutledge Drive.

Crews are working to repair a water main break, which could cause customers to experience low or no water pressure, or service interruptions.

CFPUA officials say the repairs will take several hours and should be completed Tuesday night.
