Counter narcotic agents arrested three people – including a reputed Bloods gang member – after witnessing a man sell heroin at a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Wilmington, officials said Thursday.

The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Unit set up surveillance on Wednesday at the Market Street Chick-fil-A, near the New Centre Drive intersection, and watched as an employee, Jarvon Everett, sold heroin out of the restaurant’s back door, according to sheriff’s office officials.

Wrong! You can’t blame the restaurant for what the employee does. This organization is run by Christians, and no matter who you are or what you think, I am glad they made a stand like they did. It is about time someone does. You know the song “You have to stand for something, or you’ll fall for anything” is completely true.

As for the employees, if the restaurant knowingly employed a gangbanger, that is one thing, but if they didn’t know, they can’t be blamed for his behavior. I bet many of you who made the stupid comments you did probably have ate there and liked it.

These people chose to do criminal activity, which can happen anywhere, perhaps even out of your house! Hmmmm! Just saying!

Jarvon Everett-the employee has two misdemeanor convictions for drug possession. That is not a bad enough record to preclude someone from hiring him.

Darion Graham, who is not employeed by Chick-Fil-A, is the reputed gang member.

There was nothing in the CEO’s statement regarding homosexual marriage that indicated that he hates anyone. He has a right to his beliefs on the matter and I applaud him for taking a stand.

So Anne, your telling me the restaurant is not to blame for the actions of it’s employees… How about you go out and start a business hire a bunch of drug dealers and see how fast you get sued… These restaurant chains hire people all the time with criminal records, and don’t give me the “Everyone deserves a second chance speech” there are plenty of educated hard working honest people out there who can’t find jobs. No the restaurant manager should be fired too for not keeping watch over their employee’s… Hell, the manager was probably getting a cut of the action… As for the CEO of Chick-Fil-A voicing his opinion on gay rights that’s fine as the person above stated if someone wants to live their life filled with hatred, and discrimination so be it… but it is more than that this company donates money to lobby for such bills that were passed here just a couple months ago. So don’t say it’s just his opinion…

Mr. Graham was charged with first degree murder just a few short years back. Now he’s on the streets selling heroin. Some justice system!

  • Guest2020 says:

He wasn’t convicted of first degree murder. He was convicted with being an accessory after the fact to first degree murder.

  • Guest666 says:

Wasn’t this fast food joint just in the news for its christian holiness, being closed on Sundays so everyone can pray, and its non-acceptance of gay marriage? Funny how things work out…now its heroin out of the back door. Good thing they’re hiring good christian people to peddle their dope. What a joke…maybe they should keep to making unhealthy food and call it a day.

  • Guesthug says:

Let’s see how the Chick-fil-A organization defends this. Nice screening of your employees. Management had to know about this and might have been taking a cut. Bet they’d rather have gang members and drug dealers than anyone who might be GAY!

  • Guestk says:

Ok, so yesterday the President of Chick-Fil-A announced that his corporation was against Gay Marraiges….how bold and protective is he? Drug testing obviously wasn’t done for this employee, drugs are IN and around his restaurant where food is being prepared and families are eating, the Blood Gang is hanging at the back door. But God please save us from the gays at Chick-Fil-A. Sheesh.

  • Guestwhere says:

Chick-fil-A is really expaning their menu these days. I can hear the jingle in my head now…. “Arby’s. It’s good mood drugs” or something like that, I’m sure their working on it.

  • JohnS says:

Wow… good to know that while Chick-fil-A is out broadcasting their homophobic slurs and openly hating on the Gay community that they are hiring such upstanding people to serve the general public their food.

Is this part of those “Christian” values they keep preaching about? Hmmmm…
