WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- In our Kitchen Cops report, we have one low score and two high scores to report.
A low score at Fibbers Public House in Wilmington. On July 18 inspectors found:
-Pineapple stored in an open can and ice on the floor in the freezer.
-The need to clean the dish racks and the prep sink.
-Roaches were present.
-The following items need cleaning: dish racks, bus tubs, inside of fryer, shelving in walk in, duct tape from food contact surfaces, sauce container lids and bathrooms.
The 86 for Fibbers Public House follows a low 87 on its last inspection on June 27.
Now two high scores to report.
Inspectors found nothing to complain about at Loco Jo’s Bar & Grill at 602 N. Howe Street in Southport. A perfect 102 for Loco Jo's
In an inspection of Dawg House Too at 6415 Beach Drive in Ocean Isle Beach, inspectors found egg products stored over prepared food in cooler. That's a half-point deduction. Add two points for a food safety course. A strong 101.5 for Dawg House Too.
