Amtrak is exploring expanding its Thruway bus service to eastern North Carolina. The buses would connect the area to Amtrak’s national passenger rail system.

I hope Amtrak’s national passenger rail system thru Brunswick County and Myrtle Beach, SC and Jacksonville, NC, too! So we could have reliable transportation for jobs, travels, vacation tours. I admit I am getting tired to drive to Wilmington, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC and spend too much on gas, too!

There is free parking at the Wilson station but it will be a good thing to offer transportation to the station. Wilmington is missing out by a lack of connection to rail service. I’m glad to see this.
