Suspect in shooting turns himself in to Brunswick Co. sheriff's office

BRUNSWICK CO., NC (WWAY) -- Sheriff's deputies have one man in custody believed to be connected to a shooting in Brunwick County last week.

Police say Dwight Powell Jr., 24, turned himself in Saturday afternoon.

Deputies found Bryan Johnson shot in a field on Makatoka Road Thursday night.

Police are still searching for Deontray and Mickey Bryant. Both men are considered armed and dangerous.
