WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Hampstead man is still in the hospital after being shot at a concert in Raleigh Friday night.

Raleigh Police say Travis Pollard, 36, was shot while leaving a Jason Aldean concert.

police responded to the Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion around 11 p.m. Friday.Pollard was taken to WakeMed, where he is in fair condition.

Pollard owns Lighthouse Electric Inc. in Hampstead.

In a facebook post, Aldean responded to the shooting, saying, “There’s no excuse for things getting that heated in traffic leavin a show. I’m prayin for the fan who was injured and thanks to the Raleigh Police for acting so quickly.”

Police say the investigation continues. No charges have been filed.

Surprise, surprise….a bunch of rednecks get together and somebody got shot…too bad he was too dumb to aim the gun properly…cant believe they left the trailer park long enough to finish the concert.

You people commenting are DISGUSTING! The man who was shot was a father and he was defending his daughter. Thank goodness he didn’t lose his life. It would have been traumatic for his daughter to witness the death of her father, but I guess that you kind of people of used to seeing that in ghetto.
