WILMINGTON, NC — It’s been a mostly up year for the Wilmington International Airport so far. Now the question is if the airport can maintain its strong passenger numbers for the rest of 2012
After a mostly strong first half of the year, passenger numbers are starting to slip.
The loss of service to Chicago on American Airlines in April cost the airport flights, as did Delta replacing US Airways’ three daily flights to New York-LaGuardia in early July with only two flights.
