Post 10 pours it on at SE Regional


SUMTER,SC (WWAY) -- Wilmington Post 10 is now the only undefeated team left in the Southeast Regional American Legion Baseball Tournament. Post 10 shutout Lynchburg, Virgina on Saturday night 16-0 in seven innings in a winner's bracket game in the double elimination tournament. Gray Brooks earned the win on the mound for Scott Sandlin's squad.

Only four teams remain in the hunt for the Southeast title. Virginia, Alabama and South Carolina all have one loss each. Post 10 has not lost yet. Post 10 will play Florence, South Carolina on Sunday at 6pm in Sumter, South Carolina.

The winner of the Southeast Regional will advance to the American Legion World Series which starts on Friday, August 17th in Shelby,NC. ESPN3 will air all of the games from Shelby. Click here for more information on that.
