RALEIGH, NC (AP) — Nearly 2,000 tickets won prizes ranging from $2,500 to $5,000 when the combination of 1-1-1-1 came up in a North Carolina lottery game.

State lottery officials say prizes from Saturday night’s drawing total $7.5 million. That represents the largest amount ever won in a single drawing of the Carolina Pick 4 game. The drawing produced 1,995 winning tickets that matched all four numbers.

The odds of matching all four numbers in the game are one in 10,000.

Players who paid 50 cents for a ticket win $2,500. Players who bought a $1 ticket win $5,000.

Saturday’s drawing marked the fifth time that a combination known as “quads” has been drawn.

Players have 180 days to claim their prizes.
