WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Robert Downey Jr. injured his ankle today on the set of "Iron Man 3" causing the production to stop shooting for now.
In a statement, Marvel Studios said, "Robert Downey Jr. sustained an ankle injury on the set of 'Iron Man 3' in Wilmington while performing a stunt. There will be a short delay in the production schedule while he recuperates."
No word on when the film will be back up and running.

Can you imagine how many trees would have to be killed if Hong Kong put up headlines every time Jackie Chan got hurt?
But, seriously. I don't wish ill for anyone. I pray that Mr. Downey makes a full and quick recovery.

You hold him in a state of regard that is far too high Paul. I'm guessing you feel CEO's who are paid a few million per year and have countless employees are vastly overpaid, but an actor who gets 10 Million for a movie is well worth every penny...and has almost no employees other than a publicist and an agent.
Iron Man
So, Iron Man has been has been stymied by a mortal ailment, a sprained ankle. His enemies may use that against him in the future.
