WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The race for the White House is ramping up as the Republican National Convention kicks off Monday, and the Democratic National Convention is set for the following week right here in the Tar Heel State.

Saturday, supporters of President Obama who volunteered with the campaign picked up credentials to see the President officially accept the Democratic nomination. President Obama is set to deliver his acceptance speech at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte Thursday, September 6 during the DNC.

“I think President Obama is a president for all Americans. But as far as the convention goes, just being there,” Jimmy Gaylor said after picking up his credentials at the Obama campaign’s Wilmington field office. “I’ve watched them on TV all my life. It just seems like it’s the most exciting thing to be able to participate in the Democratic process.”

Remember, WWAY is the place to get complete coverage of both the Republican and Democratic conventions. We’ll have coverage of the RNC all this week on WWAY and ABC. Then, WWAY’s Kevin Wuzzardo and Cacky Catlett will be in Charlotte for the DNC, bringing you live, local coverage.

by up to 74% when the “Shift” key is judiciously used while posting.

According to a poll recently sent out by the National Institute for the Advocacy of Shift Key Usage, a group dedicated entirely to Capital Improvement issues, judicius usage of the above-mentioned key most definately enhances the credibility of posters. The only apparent exception would be caps usage on flat, hangable wall posters according to the institute.

One poll respondent went as far as to state “Hey, Dude, like if I see that non-cap stuff done in a wall poster, that’s like art, man. If I see some of that non-cap stuff in poetry, that’s like artsy froot-loopy stuff that doesn’t matter anyway except it’s gotta rhyme but internet posters shouldn’t be doing that man, ’cause then that dude’s probably not serious and then it’s hard to believe what he says, man.”

Next week, according to an Institue spokesperson, their new white paper report “Overcapitalization … Hey! What’s with all that shouting?” is due to be released pending one final check of all the small letters and the big letters.

obama is a president for all americans who don`t want to work !!!

lets run the country in the ground and then claim victory …”my

policies have worked ” and don`t even get me started on biden! i

voted for obama but he just does not have the insight or business

sense to turn things around. this grest country needs to right

itself and romney/ryan can get it done. the economic recovery is

going to be painful . higher taxes ,less welfare etc . but obama

is not focused on recovery he is focused on giving illegals amnesty,

making heathcare a requirement, taking away states rights to govern

themselves and all the things that are going to make economic

recovery next to impossible !!! vote romney/ryan 2012

At 45 I have never used nor will ever use food stamps. I work for a living, always have and always will. Try not to choke on your own vomit. By the way genius, it’s KARMA, not CARMA. Now get your hands out of everyone’s pocket and go find some work.
