WASHINGTON (AP) — A Navy SEAL who participated in the raid that killed Osama bin Laden says the terrorist apparently was shot in the head as he looked out his bedroom door, contradicting previous official accounts describing him as being shot after ducking back into his room and possibly reaching for a weapon.

Former SEAL Matt Bissonnette describes the 2011 raid in Pakistan under the pseudonym Mark Owen in “No Easy Day,” co-written with StarNews local news editor Kevin Maurer, to be published next week. The Associated Press purchased a copy of the book Tuesday.

The account may again raise questions over whether the raid was intended to capture or simply kill bin Laden, though Bissonnette says the SEALs were told to capture him if he surrendered.

White House spokesman Tommy Vietor would not comment on the conflicting accounts late Tuesday.

It is those like yourself that believe everything you are told that are the problem. Your screen name pretty much says it all…….you are totally incapable of having an original thought.

I never saw a body or burial when they buried my Grandmother…However it didn’t leave a lot of questions. Do you feel maybe you are so special they should have flown you out to the burial sight and let you witness it? Had they shown you the body on TV and the burial would you have been one of the first to say it was all fake? YUP!!!

Is there really anyone out there that actually beiieved that he would be taken alive? Why is the media making such a big deal over this, I have heard this arguement on various news agencies. Bin Laden was not going to be taken alive, regardless of which party was controlling the White House.

And no president is going to go record stating they gave the order for him to be killed. That would be a stupidest move in the history of world politics. They had to say that he was armed, to justify the killing.

I mean really lets practice some common sense, does the media and politicians really believe that we we cannot see though this smoke screen?
