RALEIGH, NC (AP) — The N.C. Museum of History is scheduled to show off a private collection of memorabilia from the movie “Gone with the Wind.”
The items on display in the exhibit “Real to Reel: The Making of ‘Gone with the Wind'” include the Academy Award that Vivien Leigh won for her portrayal of Scarlett O’Hara and her dress from the scene of the attack at Shantytown.
The collection belongs to James Tumblin of Hawaii, former head of the Universal Studios makeup and hair department.
The exhibit opens Friday and runs through Jan. 13, 2013.
