WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A dozen students from Mosely Performance Learning Center and their bus driver were taken to the hospital this morning after they were involved in a fender bender in Wilmington. It happened at 13th and Dawson Streets.

The school district says the students and driver were taken to the hospital for observation, and that no major injuries had been reported. The district says parents were notified, and the school’s principal is at New Hanover Regional Medical Center with some of the students. Others were taken to Cape Fear Memorial Hospital.

According to the district, police ticketed the driver of the car involved in the accident for pulling out in front of the bus.
