Craig Reynolds, president of Marine Specialty Management, was ordered in December 2011 to pay $100,000 as part of an insurance claim after the Aug. 29, 2009, deaths of Cynthia Woodock and Lorrie Shoup.

The two were killed during a parasailing accident on the vessel the Tied High, operated by Ocean Isle Beach Watersports and NC Watersports.
