WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Halloween is fast approaching, and Poplar Grove Plantation is gearing up for the spooky holiday in a big way.

The Halloween Festival at the plantation is bigger than ever. The fun is perfect for all ages, with hayrides, fun houses, and even a haunted barn.

It’s going on this weekend and next; Friday, Saturday and Sunday both weekends. Admission is free, and the cost for the various activities will vary.

All the proceeds go to the Topsail High School Drama Department. Good Morning Carolina anchor Ashley Jacobs sat down with one of the directors of the festival, as well as some of the actors involved.
