We’ll also use questions emailed in from listeners, or sent to us via Twitter and Facebook.

Questions for the candidates may be emailed to newsdirector@whqr.org or submitted via Twitter with the #whqrforums hash tag. Questions should note for which slate of candidates they are intended. WHQR reserves the right to edit the questions for clarity, brevity, and objectivity. Each question must be addressed to all candidates in a particular race.

My elderly family member has been getting horrible threatening collection letters from New Hanover County for the annexation in the old Hanby section of Kure Beach. They charged her $3000.00 in interest on her sewer tap and then threaten her with prosecution by the district attorney. They turned her into the credit bureau and tell her she is being turned over to the sheriff to sell her small house she has been living for years. She has paid payments on this sewer for 10 years out of her social securiy check. Which one of these people is allowing this to happen to our elderly residents?

We are not unhappy with Brian Berger, lighting up these official governaughts on real public issues is what we want him to do. Leave him out of your inappropriate debate recall discussion and deal with the very real unconscienable things that have happened to force seniors out of their homes to pay for your overpaid county and town Bully employees while you have been in office.
