Vaught set a state record for most receiving yards in a game last Friday in a 44-20 loss against Terry Sanford. Vaught’s 357 yards broke the old record of 336 yards set by Chris Noble of North Davidson against Davie County in 2002.

West Bladen quarterback Zach Wilcox completed 39 of 58 passes for 447 yards in the loss against the Bulldogs. The 39 completions by Wilcox ranks fourth all-time in state history for completions in a game.
