Why haven’t all these people been creating jobs for the last 4 years if they are so good at it. I wish they would leave the country with their money. It would be a lot better than their money leaving the country without them as it is doing now. Even Mitt, with his stashing money in Switzerland and the Bahamas, won’t go, much to my chagrin. The tired old BS that you are spouting has run it’s course and the majority of people didn’t buy it. Try something else, Karl.

After everything people have been saying about our President and the lies that have been told for 5 years, I think Democrats should do a little celebrating right now. As I said though, this is good for America, not just Democrats. That was not a snide comment; it’s a fact. We are getting more liberal. If you live in most progressive states and you are gay, you can have the same rights as everyone else, you might be able to smoke a little weed in the privacy of your own home, and you’re going to get affordable healthcare. So, the American people as a whole went in the right direction instead of reverting to the same old practices that didn’t work the first time they were tried. We are getting more liberal and that, my friend, is one of the best things about this election. If you are not moving forward, at best, you are standing still. At the worst, you are going backward.

It is difficult to be a gracious winner when you have so many sore losers venting their opinions. The Republican Party needs to get out of the seventeenth century and change into a more modern, progressive group. If this election did not prove this to them, there is little hope. Our middle class is tired of all the fat cats stealing what we have and a political party helping them to do so. My friend, things are changeing. This is only the beginning.

The Progressive Movement which has hijacked the Democratic Party is a socialist-marxist agenda which thinks Government is responsible for everybody’s wellbeing. Additionally the Progressive movement brought us Prohibition the biggest fiasco and mistake in the 20th century. If you look at whats happenening those states with high tax and spend and budget issues are losing population because people are sick of the confiscatory nature of those governments and punishing people for success (these are truly those who create jobs and companies), those policies are the real reason why people are moving jobs overseas due to the US having the largest tax burden on business in the entire industrialized world. What will happen next is people will not only leave those states with high taxes they will simply LEAVE the USA.. Who are you going to tax when the money flees the country?? You’ll have nobody left to support the lazy welfare mom with 10 children who cant stay off her back. The left espouses choice and birth control yet this seems to be a serious problem with the welfare state there is no penalty for not controlling your birthing habits beyond any reasonable limit. The free ride is going to come to an end people. John Galt is alive and well and when those who are the best and brightest LEAVE THE USA you wont have anybody left to support your socialist wannabe utopia.

This is a great day for the USA. It shows that most of the American people are not as stupid or gullible as politicians would like to believe. Welcome to Liberal America!!!

Congrats on your guy winning. The people have spoken. That’s democracy in action and I’m thankfull to live in a country that has it.

The “Welcome to Liberal America!!!” comment: Totally snide and unecessary.

Our country is becoming more and more politically devisive by the minute. Cilivility and compromise have become red-haired stepchildren. Nothing gets accomplished anymore. If we all keep acting like that, the whole country will eventually go down the dumper. Pick up a history book; you’ll find lots of examples.

I’d appreciate it if you tried not to make that even worse. Hey, your guy already won, what’s the point in not being a gracious winner?

It appears Nikita Kruschev was right when he spoke before the U.N. in the early years of the cold war.

“America will fall without a shot being fired. It will fall from within.”

  • Guest000000

If it does fall from within it will be because of the right. Just keep watching FOX News, Beck, Limbaugh and Hannity to get your marching orders. Baaaaaaaa Baaaaaaa.

Congrats NC! We did it (or did we) Mr. Obama will be the President of the U.S. for four more years. I do not agree with some of his initiatives and policie; however, the majority has spoken. So we can either continue on our downward path of hatred, division and destruction, or we can put on our big boys and girls’ panties and MOVE FORWARD!

  • Beach Bum

Too bad Obama was re-elected. I sincerely hope all investors pull their money out, liquidate all assets and terminate the employment of all employees. I also will go on to say, hope the democrats have their check books open and a pen ready so when the Chinese invade, to settle monetary debts, collections can be made in a civil manner. I will be the guy handing the chinese fliers with directions on where they can start their collections process.

And as always, Obama may be the commander in chief, but he is not my president. There will not be a second surrender signing at the Appomattox Courthouse next time. And the Dow Jones is down all most 300 points.

    Good luck democrats and liberals.

Funny u mention our debt, & what we owe China… Had we voted 4 mittens, I guess u would understand if We all had to fork ours over & he just keeps all his hidden out of the country. He lost his own state, that should be enough said right there, obviously they know the country wouldn’t fare well with their governor as president!!! Funny we’ve seen that Obama has been nothing but honest, & Romney has been caught in lie after lie … but no matter what u would rather have the crooked one in the office…. Just because his white skin makes him more appealing. .. How stupid of you!!! I dnt care how much U deny it, there’s no other reason not to want Obama in office except the fact that his skin is the wrong color… But guess what patriots, u owe himbthe same respect u gave a Bush, & he’s the one that dug this despicable joke Romney tried to throw US back in!!! So put ur bug boy pants on, & take pride in the works of democracy, thus IS America, & if u want it one-sided, try Cuba; Castro would know just how to treat you!!!

  • I am sure that you did not notice but NC overwhelmingly voted for Romney AND if you didn’t agree with Obama’s initiatives and policy why in the world would you vote for him or be excited for his win??? Forward is the last direction that we will move with this man in power. We’ll see if you are crowing in four years…

Anyone that’s wasting their time posting about how bad things are or how bad things are going to get are doing absolutely nothing to help or fix the problem.. This is still America and their are so many opportunities to better ourselves and our nation. This is the time to get out there and “get it”. Anyone not “gettin it” simply doesn’t want it bad enough. I am prepared to help anyone who wants it, anyone who tries to drag me down will be left behind.. I am on a mission, the sky is the limit for me because I know the options are endless! YOUR life is what YOU make it. Take your lives in your own hands and stop making excuses… Stay positive, live life, and go get whatever it is you want.. I’m in a race to the top of the world! Catch me if you can…

“Liberal America”/Socialism is forward? What are you smoking? Wait ’til you are in the bread line and tell me again how much you love it. I am sick of hearing about the selfish rich. The selfish rich invest millions into the economy. Without their investments the economy would be even worse. But, keep kicking them and see how long they will continue those investments. States with large electoral votes have a large minority population that will always vote for a Dem because the Dems are big on social programs/handouts. When the selfish rich start keeping their money, we will see what happens.
