LELAND, NC (WWAY) — Belville Elementary School hosted a Christmas pageant this weekend. Local girls dressed up and showed off their hobbies and skills on stage in front the crowd. Celebrity judges including WWAY’s own Chris Phillips were at the event.

Co-chair of the Unity Group Connie Reaves says this is a great opportunity for local girls.

“We are excited this year to be able to offer this opportunity to so many local girls. It gives them an opportunity to participate in a community group and feel good about themselves,” Reaves said.

If you’re interested in getting involved and either the Unity Group or the Christmas Pageant next year, just head to their website, ncchristmasfestival.com.
