BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - Cody Zeller had 20 points and eight rebounds, leading No. 1 Indiana to a stunning 83-59 rout of No. 14 North Carolina on Tuesday night in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge.

Victor Oladipo and Will Sheehey both added 19 points for the Hoosiers (7-0), who have won 34 consecutive November games at home.

The Tar Heels (5-2) were led by Dexter Strickland with 14 points and Marcus Paige with 11 - not nearly enough when North Carolina managed three points and one field goal - a tip-in that Indiana may have gotten a hand on - in the first 8½ minutes of the second half.

For 16 minutes, the college powerhouses battled to a 31-31 draw.

But Zeller scored six points in a 15-6 run to close the first half and played a key role in the Hoosiers' 13-0 spurt to open the second half that turned the game.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) - Ray Gallegos scored 17 of his career-high 20 points after halftime to help Nebraska beat Wake Forest 79-63 on Tuesday night in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

Andre Almeida matched his career-high with 20 points to go with a career-best 11 rebounds for the Cornhuskers (5-1), who blew open a close game after halftime. Gallegos went just 1 for 5 in the first half but hit seven straight shots after the break, helping Nebraska blow the game open and turn it into an ugly night for the Demon Deacons (3-3).

After leading just 28-24 at the break, the Huskers scored on 16 of 19 possessions to start the second half and build a 22-point lead with 8:05 left. Gallegos had 12 points during the 20-3 run that turned it into a romp, including a pair of 3-pointers.

Freshman Madison Jones scored 14 to lead Wake Forest.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Trey Burke had 18 points and 11 assists, and No. 3 Michigan held off a late rally by No. 18 North Carolina State in a 79-72 victory Tuesday night.

Freshman Nik Stauskas led the Wolverines (6-0) with 20 points and Tim Hardaway Jr. added 16, but it was Burke who controlled the game, equaling his previous career high of nine assists in the first half and going the whole game without a turnover.

N.C. State (4-2) trailed 73-58 before going on a 10-0 run capped by T.J. Warren's layup with 2:11 remaining. Hardaway answered with a driving bank shot.

It was 75-70 when the Wolfpack forced a turnover and called a timeout with 54.4 seconds to play, but C.J. Leslie was called for an offensive foul.
