WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Today marks the grand opening of the Cape Fear’s newest specialty grocery store.

Traffic was expected to be backed up at Trader Joe’s at College and Oleander, but cars seemed to be flowing normally through Wilmington’s busiest intersection.

Wilmington Police were on stand by just in case traffic took a turn for the worse. This afternoon, New Hanover County Dispatch said there had been no reported problems.
