BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick County Sheriff’s deputies are still searching for five suspects wanted in Operation Christmas Crackdown. The early-morning round-up yesterday landed 29 people in jail.

All of the suspects are wanted under warrants and indictments for possessing and distributing drugs.

The remaining suspects at large are Brenden Emmerson of Leland, Damian Allen Burney of Supply, James “Chris” Bunting of Wilmington, Jeremy Hunsucker of Winnabow and Wanda Watts Johnson of Bolivia.

Yes, they are hiding like cockroaches do and will only appear in the night. I imagine they are hiding from place to place and just waiting for that knock at the door and then off to the pokey they go.
