The Pirates, who will try to maintain their momentum after closing the regular season with wins in five of the last six games, are in search of their first bowl victory since defeating No. 22 Boise State 41-38 in the 2007 Sheraton Hawai’i Bowl. ECU will also be looking for its ninth win of the year, which would be the program’s second-highest single-season victory total.
