WILMINGTON,NC (WWAY) — The UNCW men’s basketball team is in the holiday spirit. Check out the Seahawk singers! Click the play video icon to see Buzz Peterson’s squad try to hold a tune.

NBA Christmas Day Schedule, eastern time:

12:00 – Boston Celtics at Brooklyn Nets (ESPN)
3:00 – New York Knicks at Los Angeles Lakers (ABC-WWAY)
5:30 – Oklahoma City Thunder at Miami Heat (ABC-WWAY)
8:00 – Houston Rockets at Chicago Bulls (ESPN)
10:30 – Denver Nuggets at Los Angeles Clippers (ESPN)

AP –The NBA’s hottest team will be playing at home in Los Angeles, and it’s the Clippers, not the Lakers.

There’s a finals rematch in Miami, a holiday matinee in Brooklyn, Kobe vs. the Knicks and the 20th anniversary of one of Michael Jordan’s most memorable games in Chicago.

Welcome to Christmas, NBA style.

A five-game slate makes up the NBA’s Christmas schedule, which this year comes with the additional bonus of not being the first day back after a lockout forced the cancellation of the opening portion of last season.

Schedule-makers set the matchups long ago, and the league always tries to get some marquee meetings.

This year, they pretty much struck gold.

Please note that once you click on the bracket that TC stands for Trask Coliseum and HH stands for Hanover Hall. Please note that only the first day is guaranteed for the court location in the attached bracket. UNCW and the Fire Marshall reserve the right to switch courts based on crowd control and safety. The Tournament management will advise of any changes as soon as they might occur during the tournament. There is one error on the brackets. The tournament passes will now be priced at $20 for an adult and $15 for students. With two dozen games on the slate this remains a great value.
