WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are asking for help finding a missing 17-year-old girl.

A Crisis Line Open House staff member reported Azariah Brewer missing January 1. Brewer had been staying there for some time, of her free will, and apparently left on her own.

Brewer is an 11th grader at New Hanover High School, but she has not reported to school, which is reportedly not like her.

Brewer is a white female, 5’5″-5’6″, 130-140 lbs., brown, shoulder-length, straight hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing jeans, a burgundy shirt, a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and black shoes.

If you have any information as where Brewer is, please call the Wilmington Police Department at (910) 343-3600. Information may also be submitted anonymously through Text-A-Tip. Text “Tip708” and the message, and send to CRIMES (274637).
