Wilmington, NC (WWAY) — It doesn’t take a lot of money or time to get in shape. If you’re trying to stick to a New Year’s resolution to lose weight or you just want to continue living a healthy lifestyle, personal trainer Sara Cooper has tips for you.

She showed Good Morning Carolina anchor Ashley Jacobs how to work out like you’re at the gym, from inside your own home. It’s as simple as using rice paper, tupperware lids and a chair. Watch her full interview with Ashley to learn how you can get moving now.

Next…I glued sponges on the bottom of my Tupperware lids…went into the kitchen…sprayed a floor cleanser on the floor…and went to work. After 30 minutes or so, my back/hands and legs were killing me…but the kitchen floor shines and looked better then it has in years!! Next…I stood up and down on the chair…fell backwards landed on my cat licking his &*^%&* on the newly shined floor…now we are both in traction and out of commission for a while. My wife is proud though that I made an all out effort…and promises not to put it on Facebook/Tweet it…or Twitt it globally. Thanks Hun!! The cat’s Vet bill is another matter though :-(
She (the instructor) didn’t say though what to use if you don’t have Tupperware lids…so this leaves a whole new scenario…and a society of waiting people who need to be told what to do, and wanting the DVD of this process. In Blue Ray if possible would be nice too :-)
No wonder my eye lids are so strong…I use them every few seconds!

I figured that if using just one of these items at a time was beneficial, using all three together would produce results three times as fast.

First, I tried putting the rice paper into a container and snapping on the Tupperware lid while I was sitting on a chair. Then I tried sitting on a chair, taking off the Tupperware lid from a container and taking out the rice paper.

So far, I haven’t seen much improvement from either method. Maybe I should have watched the video.

For those of you in Wilmington…just lift your 2012 New Hanover County/Wilmington property tax bill over your head 15 times a day for 1 month. You are sure to get into shape…and then you will be prepared for the 2013 tax bill!
