ONLY ON 3: David says his office 'monitoring' jail beating case

READ MORE:

BLADEN COUNTY (NC) -- Last week, WWAY broke the story of Joshua Ward, who was badly beaten in the Bladen county jail.

Former jailer Marcus Hubbard told us that kind of violence is nothing new at the Bladen county jail. He said his complaints would often times fall on deaf ears.

District Attorney Jon David told WWAY that won't be the case this time.

"It is not up to my office to deal with staffing issues at the sheriff's office," David said. "I am concerned about the inmate who was injured, and I will vigorously prosecute the perpetrators. Currently there is no indication of criminal wrongdoing by jail staff, but I am monitoring the situation should new information become available."

Jon "Do Nothing" David

Jon David's office is "monitoring" the case. What a joke Jon David is! What he is "monitoring" is the fact the sheriff and his deputies are his friends and he's part of the Good Ole' Boys Club.

Jon David saying he is monitoring anything that has to do with wrongdoings by public officials is a JOKE. He proved that during the Town of Leland's Police Department's corruption allegations. If it wasn't for WWAY and Chad Adams, from the Big Talker, forcing him to come clean from his lies and have to back track, the public would have never known what this pathetic excuse for a DA really is!

I long for the day the SBI is finished with their LENGTHY review of Leland's PD and all of these shady politicians are held accountable for not living up to the oath of their office!!! I also long for the day these officials try to get re-elected. If the public didn't know about their involvements or lack thereof, they will soon!

Jon David

He Don't watch his own staff let along someone else's. Brunswick County is the only County In NC that lets Felons get off with doing their time on weekends for third time convections for stolen gun by a felon.

"I will vigorously prosecute the perpetrators . . ."

I hope their punishment is draconian. Those three animals who beat Ward almost to death-- with no provocation-- deserve the worst punishment the court can inflict.

Obviously, they have no empathy. They are sadistic sociopaths, and I shudder to think of the future violence they will inflict after their sentences are served.
