WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Fire on the Dock is back for its second year. Billed as competition dining, patrons vote on courses served and the winner advances.
The venue this year for the popular cooking competition is Bluewater Grill on the intracoastal in Wrightsville Beach. Sixteen restaurants face off through April 3.
Culinary ring master Jimmy Crippen gets everyone in on the show. ”I think what makes this a popular event is that you are the judge. This is all interaction, it is interaction to its finest extent with dining, you get to be the judge.”
Monday night’s contestants were the Antoine Murray with Cape Fear Country Club facing off against Scott Grimm and Dockside.
Tuesday night it’s Wilmington’s Rx against Oceanic from Wrightsville Beach.
