ATLANTA (AP) — Michael Jordan has asked a Georgia court to dismiss a lawsuit filed against him by a woman who says the NBA hall of famer is the father of her 16-year-old son.

Jordan’s lawyer says in the document filed Monday in Fulton County Superior Court that he is not the father of 48-year-old Pamela Y. Smith’s son. Jordan has also filed a counterclaim against Smith for false claims made against him.

The 50-year-old owner of the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats says the paternity of the teen has already been “conclusively established” in divorce filings between Smith and her ex-husband.

Jordan’s response to Smith’s Feb. 6 lawsuit says her suit is a “shameless, bad faith attempt to abuse the legal system.”

In Smith’s lawsuit she requests that Jordan take a paternity test and pay child support.

Just a gold digger. Why else would some tramp wait 16 years to make a grab for child support? Just a fast buck and figured Michael would pay instead of going through court proceedings. Well, he didn’t……good for Michael. It is up to her to prove him guilty, not up to him to prove his innocence.

DNA…DNA Michael! It will either free you, or you’ll be writing checks to this young man.
