WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Conservative talk radio host Chad Adams is leaving his morning show at The Big Talker FM. Adams has hosted "Mornings with Chad Adams" since 2010.

"It's a good time for me to professionally move on," Adams told PortCityDaily.com. "I have truly enjoyed being a part of the southeastern North Carolina community. It has been one of the most incredible experiences of my life. I am deeply appreciative of the opportunity. I am proud of the guests we’ve had on and the tone of the show."

In addition to his radio work, Adams has been a familiar face to WWAY viewers. Adams, a former Lee County Commissioner, has served as a guest political analyst on Election Night and at other times. In November, he offered viewpoints from the right side of the political spectrum while former US Rep. Bob Etheridge provided analysis from the left.

Adams will host the final edition of his daily broadcast March 29.

Before his work in radio, Adams, a UNCW graduate, worked for Americans for Prosperity (AFP) and the Center for Local Innovation at the John Locke Foundation.

I really enjoy his show, and he is really good. Local talk radio, is sadly becoming a thing of the past. This area used to be so rich in it.
