WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — This year’s Azalea Festival Historic Home Tour includes a beautiful home on S. 4th Street.
With plenty of shade and porches, the William A. French House is ready for any season.
The house and garden will be be featured on the tour, and don’t miss the giraffe in the backyard.
Owner Barbara Sullivan loves living downtown. She says the original architect for this home designed another building on this year’s tour.
“It’s italianate style. It was built in 1861, and the same man who was the architect of our house was the the architect of the Temple of Israel, which is just down about a block from here,” she said.
Visit the William A. French House at 107 S. 4th Street Saturday and Sunday.
