CAMP LEJEUNE, NC (AP) — Camp Lejeune is scheduled to host a remembrance of World War II for military veterans and their families.
The Marine Corps says the event is set for April 25, but requests advance reservations.
Activities are expected to begin at 9 a.m. with live demonstrations of amphibious transportation, static displays of military vehicles and displays of military gear.
Active duty Marines from the 2nd Marine Division will discuss their work and capabilities.
Musical performances and a guest speaker close the event at Camp Lejeune Officers’ Club.
