WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — As we continue on the Garden Tour, it's the first time the gardens of the City Club have been featured. The private club on 2nd St features a four-tiered garden.

It was designed in 1841 when the home was built by Dr. Armand John de Rosset. Since then, the home has gone through many incarnations. The City Club took over in 1997.

"One of my priorities was to bring the gardens back to their former glory," says club owner Jonathan Weiss.

Different annuals and perennials provide some seasonal color to compliment the mature trees.
