WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A number of shops around town are donating some of their sales to the Rape Crisis Center’s Jeans for Justice campaign.

Tomorrow they’ll donate 50 percent of purchases of denim items toward the campaign.

Kelly Oliver the owner of the boutique Oliver thinks this is a great way to help out the community.

“It’s just a great local cause to support,” Oliver said. “We’re always looking for ways to help out in the community and the Jeans for Justice idea caught my attention because we sell so much denim.”

Oliver heard about the program and reached out to others to join. She asked ten other stores and boutiques around town to join the good cause.

Aqua Fedora, Bloke, Beanie and Cecil, Gentlemen’s Corner, Edge of Urge, Island Passage, Hallelu, Monkee’s, Torri Bell,and Lula Balou are donating 50 percent of purchases on denim to the Rape Crisis Center’s Jeans for Justice campaign.
