WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — One of the stops on this year’s Azalea Festival Historic Home Tour is a small home that’s big on comfort. The Tryionis House, built in 1922, is welcoming from porch to patio.
In a home without too much indoor area, these designs stretch space with extra outdoor living places.
This craftsman cottage in Carolina Place fits right into a neighborhood where one porch leads to another.
“A lot of them have porches. That’s a big part of it, and we tend to use that as an extra room, where we entertain and we invite neighbors over and have cocktails and so forth,” owner Laura Spivet said.
