WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — As you enjoy this weekend’s Azalea Festival Historic Home Tour, don’t miss the landscaping at the Alexander Sprunt House.

T.J. and Judy Porter bought the home and had their work cut out for them. While they loved the style of this grand manor, there was a lot of work to be done inside. Still, the colonial revival style home started in 1929 offered the room they wanted.

Visit the Alexander Sprunt House at 1615 Chestnut Street. It is also the site of the ribbon cutting for the Historic Home Tour Saturday just after noon.
